Homzhub respects your privacy, and is committed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality and security of the personal data you provide to us or that we collect about you when you use our website www.homzhub.com, apps, social media pages and offline services. Collectively, we refer to the Websites, the Apps and our Social Media Pages, as the “Online Services” and, together with offline channels, the “Services.” We are aware of our responsibilities to protect your personal data, to keep it secure and comply with applicable privacy and data protection laws.

This Privacy Policy, in conjunction with Terms of Service and Cookie Policy, explains our personal data practices across all our websites, social media pages, mobile apps and other services as well as the choices you can make about the way your personal data is used.  This Privacy Policy gives effect to our commitment to protect your personal data and serves as the guidelines to be observed by all of the real estate properties managed and/or operated by Homzhub or its affiliates and subsidiaries. This policy is effective from the date and time a user registers with the Homzhub platform by Signing-up and accepting the terms and conditions laid out in the Site Policy.

The internet is an ever evolving medium. We may change our privacy policy from time to time to incorporate necessary future changes. Of course, our use of any information we gather will always be consistent with the policy under which the information was collected, regardless of what the new policy may be.

Collection of Information:

We may collect and combine information that is provided by you directly or indirectly or collected automatically or from third parties. This includes:

  • Information that you provide us
  • Information provided by you, when you sign up on the platform and fill out the sign up form. We ask for information like your name, contact number, email address and other personal information.
  • You may provide us your contact details to contact you if you require more information regarding our services. These include your name, contact number and email address.
  • When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address.
  • Additionally, on some specific occasions inside the portal the user may be required fill out a form and record personal information and upload documents. These include details of property you want to add to the platform or preferences while looking for a property among other details which will help us provide you service.
  • The user may verbally provide information to Homzhub members regarding their requirements of the service, which they may later record.
  • The user may provide information to customer support which is collected to make the customer experience better.
  • We analyse and store all communications content, including email content from incoming and outgoing email and chat conversations.
  • When you buy a paid service from Homzhub or its affiliates and subsidiaries, that requires your financial information, we may collect your payment and billing information.
  • When you submit us a testimonial about our product or services to post on the website or any other medium, we may include your name, photograph and other personal information. You will be given an opportunity to review and approve the testimonial before we post it.

  • If consented by you, we source your personal data through various govt. and non-government sources.
  • The Homzhub platform may gather information from the user behaviour on the platform like how you got to the site, where you navigated with it and what features and settings you use. We also collect information that web browsers, mobile devices and servers make available such as internet protocol address, browser type, language preference, time zone, referring URL, date and time of access.   • We collect location information from a variety of sources to personalise your experience.

  • Information that we collect from third parties
  • When you sign in using a third-party partner (such as Facebook or LinkedIn) we collect basic data and contact information such as your name and email address from your profiles, which shall remain with us even if it is later removed from the profile it was originally sourced from.
  • When you interact with our brand on social media, we have access to that information as well which will remain with us even if you remove it from your social media profile.
  • We may gather information from publicly available sources, social media platforms and our third-party partners.

 

How we use this information:

Homzhub or its affiliates and subsidiaries, may use the information collected from your interactions with the platform,

  • To understand your requirements and satisfy your requirements.
  • To provide quality service and a better experience for our clients.
  • For verifying the identity of users or to verify the ownership of the property
  • To fulfil your requests as and when authorised by you.
  • To understand how users respond to and use Homzhub service offerings for improving our current offerings, developing new services and preventing any issues.
  • To provide, maintain, improve and develop relevant features on the platform
  • To contact the user for sharing information relevant to the user and to perform the services as instructed by the user
  • To ask you to participate in surveys, or to solicit feedback on our products and services
  • Provide location-based Services
  • To keep you posted on new products and services, upcoming offers, events, promotions and other information that we think might interest you.
  • To update, expand and analyse our records, identify new customers, and provide products and services that may be of interest to you.
  • To analyse trends, administer our websites, and track visitor navigations on our websites to understand what visitors are looking for and to better help them.
  • To detect and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities, to report spam, and to protect the rights and interests of Homzhub, Homzhub’s users, third parties and the public.
  • To monitor and improve marketing campaigns and make suggestions relevant to the user.

 

How we share this information

We may share your personal data:

  1. between and among Homzhub or its affiliates and subsidiaries as are relevant for the above purposes and to facilitate the operation of our business, but we shall only do so on a need to know basis;
  1. with third-party payment processors, chat service providers, payment service providers, IT and marketing support service providers and other consultants, vendors and service providers who need access to such information to carry out work or provide services on our behalf or who help us to provide the Site to you;
  1. with anyone involved in the process of getting the property ready or service the property in order to fulfil contractual obligations;
  1. with any law enforcement, courts, Government or regulatory bodies (in whatever jurisdiction), or otherwise in response to a request for information if we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, any applicable law, regulation, court order or legal process to prevent an imminent breach of the law, anti-money laundering or terrorist financing;
  1. with our advisors, which includes our accountants, auditors, lawyers, other professional advisors and business contacts for the purpose of assisting us to better manage, support or develop our business and comply with our legal and regulatory obligations;
  1. in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company, or any change of management /ownership of the property;
  1. with any other party at your consent or at your direction; and
  1. otherwise as permitted or required by applicable laws and regulations.

 

Your choice and options relating to data collection and use

  1. Opt out of non-essential electronic communications: You may opt out of receiving newsletters and other non-essential messages by using the ‘unsubscribe’ function included in all such messages. However, you will continue to receive notices and essential transactional emails.
  2. Disable cookies: You can disable browser cookies before visiting our websites. However, if you do so, you may not be able to use certain features of the websites properly.
  3. Optional information: You can choose not to provide optional profile information such as your photo. You can also delete or change your optional profile information. You can always choose not to fill in non-mandatory fields when you submit any form linked to our websites.

 

Legal bases for collecting and using information

If you are an individual from the European Economic Area (EEA), our legal basis for information collection and use depends on the personal information concerned and the context in which we collect it. Most of our information collection and processing activities are typically based on (i) contractual necessity, (ii) your consent. Sometimes, we may be legally required to collect your information, or may need your personal information to protect your vital interests or those of another person.
  2. Withdrawal of consent: Where we rely on your consent as the legal basis, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, but this will not affect any processing that has already taken place.
  3. Legitimate interests notice: Where we rely on legitimate interests as the legal basis and those legitimate interests are not specified above, we will clearly explain to you what those legitimate interests are at the time that we collect your information.

Data processing and transfers

When you use or interact with any of our Services, you consent to the data processing, sharing, transferring and usage of your information as outlined in this Privacy Policy. Regardless of the country where you reside, you authorise us to transfer, process, store and use your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Direct Marketing

From time to time, we would like to use your name, email address, mobile phone number, and other relevant contact information to send you either via emails, SMS messages, telephone calls, push notifications, post, or social media (e.g. Twitter and Facebook) information that we think may be of interest to you, including about our properties under management, products and services, news about our membership programmes, satisfaction surveys, events, offers and promotions, but we can only do so with your consent.

We would also like to share (for gain) such data with the Homzhub or its affiliates and subsidiaries in the city you are staying or visiting, and with selected third party entities, so that they may send you information, news updates, special events, offers and promotions as regards their products and services, including travel, transportation, retail, food and beverage, hotel accommodation, credit cards, financial and investment services, real estate, entertainment, publications, fashion and jewellery, leisure and sports, health and wellness, non-profit and charitable activities, telecommunications, social networking, media and public relations, but we will not use your personal data for direct marketing without your consent.

You may opt-out from receiving marketing communications at any time, free of charge, by following the unsubscribe instructions contained in the marketing communications or contacting Homzhub in accordance with the section “Your choice and options relating to data collection and use” above. If you opt out of these communications, we may still send you non-promotional communications, such as those about your reservation or programme members communications, unless we are prohibited from doing so by applicable laws.

 

Retention of Personal Data

To the extent required by law, we take reasonable steps to destroy, or de-identify or redact, personal data in a secure manner when we no longer need it for the purposes for which it was collected (as set out in this Privacy Policy) and retention is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes. In any event, we do not retain your personal data for longer than six (6) years, subject to local laws and regulations.

Other important information

The user is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their User identification and password for the corresponding account. All activities and actions, such as carrying out any online or off-line transactions involving credit cards/debit cards or other such forms of instruments or sensitive documents for making such transactions, performed by the user through his user identification shall be the sole responsibility of the user and Homzhub or its affiliates and subsidiaries, assumes no responsibility or liability for the improper use of information or any actions taken through the account.

 

Your Rights and Contact Us  

You are entitled to the following rights: right of access to the personal data we hold about you, right of rectification, right to erasure, right to restrict data processing, right to object against profiling and your personal right to data portability. Whenever reasonably possible and required, we will strive to grant these rights within reasonable time. You may in certain circumstances ask us to delete your personal data. However, we may not be able to continue providing services to you if you entirely withdraw your consent or ask us to delete your personal data entirely. To make these requests, or if you have any questions or complaints about how we handle your personal data, or would like us to update the data we maintain about you and your preferences, please contact our data protection officer by email at care@homzhub.com.

When you use the Homzhub Platform, we make good faith efforts to provide you, as and when requested by you, with access to your personal information and shall further ensure that any personal information or sensitive personal data or information found to be inaccurate or deficient shall be corrected or amended as feasible, subject to any requirement for such personal information or sensitive personal data or information to be retained by law or for legitimate business purposes.

We ask individual users to identify themselves and the information requested to be accessed, corrected or removed before processing such requests and we may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical, or for which access is not otherwise required.

In any case, where we provide information access and correction, we perform this service free of charge, except if doing so would require a disproportionate effort.  Because of the way we maintain certain services after you delete your information, residual copies may be archived and may remain in our backup systems.

 

Cookie Policy

To create the personalized experience Homzhub or its affiliates and subsidiaries may use "cookies", or similar electronic tools to collect information to assign each visitor a unique, random number as a User Identification to understand the user's individual interests using the Identified Computer. A cookie cannot read data off your hard drive, the only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply. A user has the option of accepting or declining the cookies of this website by changing the settings in your browser.

Our web servers automatically collect limited information about your computer's connection to the Internet, including your IP address, when you visit our site. (Your IP address is a number that lets computers attached to the Internet know where to send you data -- such as the web pages you view.) Your IP address does not identify you personally. We use this information to deliver our web pages to you upon request, to tailor our site to the interests of our users, to measure traffic within our site.
